Nyoman Masriadi
He is probably the best known Indonesian Contemporary artist who is gaining international recognition. Masriadi is certainly taking the region by storm.
Masriadi’s work is influenced by the cutting street language Indonesians use, it is witty and colorful to say the least. It also inspired by the computer game culture that he grew up with. This young artist was recently featured in Sotheby’s International Preview magazine alongside some of the top masters and contemporary artists in the world.
